Happy New Year to you! It's been forever and a day since I was able to blog post for New Covenant. 2011 is all a-buzz with happenings... a church-wide re-launch, spring softball, a more kid-friendly room for children's church... whew! the Lord is definitely at work here in New Covenant, just last Sunday we were blessed to witness one of our children saved and brought to Jesus. How gratifying to know this child of God has a light for his path at such an early age!
Just a reminder to all our members and non-members alike... Spring Co-Ed Softball will be organizing within the next month or so; if you are interested, please call the church office so we can get you a shirt and a team.
Also, if you would like to serve within the church in ANY capacity, please contact Pastor Britt, or myself and we can plug you in. There is such a need within the church for those who can serve.
I thank you for following New Covenant's blog post, but most importantly, following God. Remember He loves us!!!!
If we had not reached out
ReplyDeleteYou never know who you can and will affect in your life. We had a memorial service for Debbie Holland who left this world unexpectedly. Don't we all leave unexpectedly. We had a outreach service at Fox Chase Village and that is how we were introduced to Debbie. Pastor remembers her first words to him were that she wanted to get things right. What if we had not reached out . . . .Sunday we had a friend yell for help, he no longer wanted to be on this earth - what would happen if we had not reached out. . . .God please give us the compassion, courage and strength to reach out.
